Privacy policy

Supersoft Corporation ("Supersoft", "we", "us") is a software house based in Karachi, Pakistan. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

Information you give us:

• When you use our contact form: your name, work email, phone number (optional), company (optional), what you're interested in, the services or products you select, your country, an estimated budget (optional) and your message.
• When you email us or message us on WhatsApp: your contact details and whatever you choose to share.
• When you apply for a job: our open positions are listed on our careers page hosted by Odoo, and the information you submit there is used for recruitment.

Information collected automatically:

• Technical information our hosting provider records when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of your visit. We use it to keep the website secure and working.
• Analytics information, only if you accept analytics cookies (see "Cookies" below).

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information through this website, and we ask you not to include it in your messages.

• To reply to your enquiry, arrange a discovery call and prepare a proposal.
• To provide our services and products under a contract with you or your organization.
• To understand how our website is used and improve it, when you have accepted analytics cookies.
• To keep our website and systems secure and to prevent misuse.
• To meet our legal, tax and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We only send you marketing messages if you have agreed to receive them, and you can opt out at any time. We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.

Where data protection laws such as the EU or UK GDPR apply to you, we rely on: your consent (for example, analytics cookies); steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and performing that contract; our legitimate interests in running and protecting our business, where these are not overridden by your rights; and compliance with legal obligations.

• Service providers who help us run our website and business — for example website hosting, email, analytics and customer relationship tools. They may only use your information to provide services to us.
• Professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants, where needed.
• Authorities, courts or regulators when the law requires it, including under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, 2016.
• A buyer or successor if our business is reorganized, merged or sold, subject to this policy.

We are based in Pakistan and some of our service providers process information in other countries, such as the United States or the European Union. When we transfer personal information across borders, we take reasonable steps — such as contractual safeguards — to keep it protected to the standard described in this policy.

• Enquiries that don't lead to a project: up to 24 months after our last contact.
• Client and project records: for the duration of our contract and afterwards for as long as the law requires, for example for tax and accounting.
• Analytics data: no longer than 14 months.

When we no longer need information, we delete or anonymize it.

Our website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). We limit access to personal information to people who need it for their work, require confidentiality from our team and service providers, and review our security measures regularly. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will act promptly if an incident occurs.

Depending on the law that applies to you, you can ask us to:

• Give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
• Delete your information, or restrict how we use it.
• Stop using your information for marketing, or object to other uses.
• Withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing.
• Transfer information you provided to another organization, where technically possible.

To make a request, email contact@supersoft.com.pk. We will respond within 30 days and may need to confirm your identity first. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the data protection authority in your country.

Our website and services are intended for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Cookies and similar technologies are small files or entries stored by your browser. We use them as follows:

• Necessary: we remember your cookie choice in your browser's local storage, so we don't ask you again on every page. This doesn't identify you.
• Analytics (optional): when analytics is enabled on our website, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it — for example, which pages are viewed. Analytics cookies (such as _ga) are only set if you click "Accept" on our cookie banner. Advertising features are switched off.

You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link in our website footer, or by clearing cookies and site data in your browser settings. Declining analytics cookies doesn't affect how our website works.

Our website links to other services, such as LinkedIn, Facebook, WhatsApp and our careers page on Odoo. Their own privacy policies apply when you use them.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If we make significant changes, we will make them clear on this page.
